Shared Delight
duì · Lake over LakeChoose gladness you can stand behind tomorrow.
Joy opens the way when it rests on what is right. Like two lakes feeding each other, people gladden one another through honest exchange. Pleasure without integrity quickly sours.
The six lines
Gladness that comes from inner harmony, asking nothing of anyone. This is a good place to start.
Joy rooted in sincerity is good, and regret falls away.
You go courting pleasure, drawing it toward you. Joy pursued for its own sake is a genuine caution.
You weigh which pleasures to accept and cannot settle. Keep a firm line against what harms you, and there is reason for gladness.
You place trust in what is wearing you away. That is dangerous, so be careful whom you trust.
You are drawn along by pleasure, led to joy by someone else's pull. Notice who is doing the leading.
